Welcome to the newly revamped YUI Lover Forum and (now finally) Fansite!

I hope u guys enjoy what we did with the place and all the crazy things we did to promote it :P

I hope those clues didn’t throw u guys off too much… HA!

Anyways, everything is pretty much the same… it might seem a little confusing at first… but once u get uses to all of it, everything will become pretty handy :P

If you guys are now wondering where the forum went… check out the nav bar… its under the Forum tab… the forum should be exactly the same… just slimmed down a bit… and the layout has changed to a sleek new one to match the fansite… the shout box has now been upgraded to a chatbox and moved down to the end of the page.

A few more directions…. at the Home tab you will now see your news feeds. Here you will find all the YUI news posted on the forum, reorganized and posted here for better viewing. A few categories of items you will see in the future are stuff like, media, radio shows, YUI net updates… and also YL site updates and YL staff news.

The rest of the pages are pretty point and shoot, so I won’t ruin the surprise and I’ll let you guys explore around! :P

If there is any question on how to navigate the fansite or if u see bugs… or u wanna make some suggestions, feel free to start a thread in the forum about it!

The YUI lover fansite portion of the site had always been a dream of mine. It was something that was in the process of production when the forum first started, but was somehow delayed and never really got picked back up. A year or so ago, I wanted badly to pick this project back up and really give it a push, but I didn’t have the skills to do it alone, nor did I have the power to get any help. I was stuck with lots a will but not a lot of way.
This fansite we have here today has fulfilled everything I wanted to do in my original idea last year, plus a butt load more. I didn’t think it would turn out this well and as professional as it did. The platform that we are on allows us so many possibilities for future improvements. And this is just the beginning guys. I promise to always keep improving, and keep y’all updated with the changes.
The newly YL fansite revamping idea was brought up by your team leaders and I a few weeks ago. Even then we couldn’t have imagined all the things we were going to accomplish. The layout in between these few weeks has already been changed 3 – 4 times, each layout being better then the last one and always constantly feeding each other with ideas, improving the site day by day.

At this time I just wanna give thanks to a few people that has made all this possible.

Thank you everyone that came on IRC daily to talk through this, this whole project and all our ideas and planning are all done in that war room.
Thank you my team leaders, dso & ukoziak: even thought u guys had busy times u still came every day and help pitch a lot of ideas and critiqued a lot of things. Thank you for that.
My 2 main men waratte and Kikino: These guys are the real heroes here… they are pretty much the architects and constructors of this site. Seriously, without their will and determination we wouldn’t be here today.
MrSean and Fujii_Itsuki: They were here giving tips and already keeping the fansite alive by making posts before the site even finish developing! Thank you for all the help.

To all the people that dropped by the IRC from time to time and became our first beta testers of the site. Thanks for all the early feedback and help.

Thank you to all the other admins, all the admins took time out of their lives and came back together to help with get the YUI-lover.com domain changed over, even shine and aditz, the elders oooohhh ahhhh..

And lastly, thank you to all the members on the forum. You are the reason why we do this and why we need to do it. We are all here keeping the YUI fandom alive and keeping YUI-lover alive. Because of all the active members we need to improve ourselves and improve YL. I really hope u guys will enjoy this place and all the new features it has. If there is ever a comment, feedback, or just something u wanna talk about, feel free to send it in an email, PM, or just start a thread in the forum.

And if you have time, please give thanks to all the people mentioned above. They deserve every bit of it.
