Recently, while the tour was slowly ending, I was passing my days writing songs.

The days were quite lax.
With the input and output, I received a lot of stimuli again and wanted to make a lot of songs.

I think I will upload a few pictures from the sightseeing I did in Okinawa.
It was a little cloudy so the pictures came out a bit dim,

Good evening.

YUIです。
It’s YUI.

Everyone, are you living as Happy-chans?

For me, since the tour has now ended, my tears are falling in large drops..

During the tour, it was so much fun that time passed in the blink of an eye♪

Thanks to the cooperation of so many people, all the staff members, all those involved with the concert, all those who rushed to the live for me, and all those who cheered for me, I was able to have a fun time going around on this tour.

Really, thank you very much!!

I’m looking forward to being able to meet you all again soon♪

Okinawa Live!!

Okinawa, where it was my first time having a live there!!

While wondering what the atmosphere would be like, I excitedly headed toward the stage.

At first I had a shy image of the people in Okinawa, but there was a friendly and warm atmosphere in which I was able to relax and sing in♪

They called out to me a lot, and even said some crazy things. lol

I was also able to learn a lot about Okinawa’s dialect, food, sightseeing areas etc..

In Okinawa, I was indebted to Fukuda Moeko!

She taught me a lot of things about Okinawa in much detail♪

I would like to know much much more(^^)

In Okinawa, there’s a saying that goes “Ichari bachou de” which means “If you’ve met once, then you’re already brothers”!

From now on, by all means, let’s be happy/excited and get along together!

Everyone in Okinawa, thank you very much!!

Let’s meet again♪

After the tour, I went sightseeing in Okinawa!

I’m hoping that I can introduce my sightseeing pictures a little at a time later on♪

Right now, it seems like influenza is going around (>_<)

If you catch it, it's really very burdensome..

Let's all be careful and make sure to gargle and wash our hands!!

Well then, well then, as for now, the tour has ended safely!!

5th Tour, thank you adieu!!!!!

YUI

P.S.

In Okinawa, there are days where it seems like the weather has already jumped ahead into summer...

It's a place that really suits hibiscuses huh♪

Konbanma. (A play on konbanwa “Good Evening”)

YUIです！！
It’s YUI!!

Everyone, are you doing well?

A lot of words are messed up in this diary, but don’t mind them!

The Tokyo performance has ended, and feeling that the final part of the tour is coming near, I’m a sad YUI.

Budokan 2 days!!

It really was a very fun time!

To everyone who came, and to everyone who cheered for me, thank you very much!!

For Budokan, I thought to challenge it with full enthusiasm, so even during preparations, I was in high tension mode!

I took awesome pictures of our stylist, Datecchi, the makeup artist, Youji-san, and his assistant Azu-san.

It’s everyone with their matching parkas!

And this is the picture where they answered my call of “Do something!” that I threw out randomly! lol

Being surrounded by such kind staff members, the excitement for the live was also very good.

On the first day (the 18th), the live started with the announcement by Captain Lou.

It was a space where you could enjoy the atmosphere of cruising.

This being the third time at Budokan, I’m very happy that I can hold concerts at such a historical and famous place.

And since it is the final stage of the tour, the emotional attachment to it is also very strong.

I was also very touched by all the warmth from the audience!

This day, I was indebted to Oriental Radio’s Fujimori-san!

A live “kawaui~ne~!” (“cuute~!” in a kinda baby voice – Fujimori’s signature phrase) echoed throughout Budokan♪

A lot of random moments that happened throughout the tour kept coming out, which surprised me.
(YUI uses the word “episode,” but it’s basically an occurrence that happened in a short period of time that left an impression. I will be using the word “moment”)

While Youji-san was humming “Separation”,
He accidentally mixed up the “Separation” part of the lyrics with “September.”

It was a wonderful moment. lol

In addition to that, snowball fights and sumo wrestling were very popular during the tour.

Our snowball fights were pretty serious, almost as much as real sports. lol

As for sumo wrestling, tour staff member, Watarucchi, and manager, Isshi, competed against each other, and after slipping and falling, Isshi got a huge bump on his head.

Everyone, when you’re sumo wrestling, please be sure to be careful not to injure yourself okay!

Besides that, there was a moment when Kuro-chan thought that there was a pile of snow, but when he tried jumping into it, it was really a guard rail.

And then also, being on a rice-less diet, but then giving into temptation and eating a gyutan (beef tongue) bento.

There were a lot of moments~!

And then, on this day, our manager, Fuku-chan, who is famous for his “Onyuu,” his wife gave birth without any complications, and so we all celebrated that together☆

Congratulations!!

To everyone who was at the venue, to everyone who cheered for me, to Captain Lou, and to OriRaji’s Fujimori-san, thank you very much!!

On the second day (19th), the atmosphere of the audience was again, different, and it had the air of a “final” performance.

While I was doing the concert, there was this sentimental feeling of, “It’s gonna end~”

But everyone’s encouraging voices were very warm, and as I was being helped by the venue’s atmosphere, I was able to sing enjoyably until the very end♪

On this day, I was indebted to Hannya’s Kawashima-san and Kaneda-san! (comedians)

Again, a lot of talk about things that happened during the tour came out.

There was this case where, while I was introducing the band members, I said “She’s a younger sister-like presence to me… He’s an older brother-like presence to me,” and before I knew it it became a popular phrase.

During the tour, it was used in many different places.

The one that hit me the most was, when we were in Hokkaido, Datecchi looked at the snow and said “It’s a freezing-like presence” and I thought it was really funny.

It’s not a noun anymore! But it’s not a verb either!
(凍ってる- kootteru is the verb “to freeze,” using 的 – teki would normally make it an adverb, and then adding　存在 – sonzai would make it a noun, but basically all in all, it doesn’t make sense because he’s basically saying that something is “frozen” 凍ってる (verb), with the *noun* phrase 的存在”tekisonzai” added at the end LOL – I hope you understood that xD)

and the more I thought about it, the more the inside of my head became all tangled up, and that feeling was nice!

Also, when we were going to take a group picture, in order to gather everyone together, the call was “We’re taking a group photo-like presence~”

“No, it’s not a group photo-like presence, it IS a GROUP PHOTO isn’t it?!!” or so some of you may want to retort huh♪
(retort = “tsukkomi” – I don’t want to explain it again so if you want to know what it is in more detail, I explain it in one of the diaries somewhere…. lol)

Everyone, if you try to use it at least once I would like that-like presence♪

Other than that, there was also the incident where Youji-san accidentally ate my Yuppi Noodles that I was saving to eat after the concert. lol

Youji-san was running around outside the dressing room while yelling “Yuppi~ Noo~dles~!!”
This was also a wonderful moment. lol

The two members of Hannya were very heartwarming, as the quickness of their retorts and the close feeling between the two of them came across really well.

They frequently said “Early to bed and early to rise,” and “YUI-chan-san” for me.

Hannya-san, thank you very much!!

The Tokyo performances have ended, and now the only place left is the Okinawa performance!

This time’s tour had the feelings of “I want to try going to places that I haven’t been to before” in it, and since I could go to so many new places, I was very happy.

And then, doing a live in Okinawa will also be a first, so I’m looking forward to it!!

By all means, please treat me favorably.

Well then, well then. Looking forward to Okinawa Adieu~.

YUI

P.S.

My dream two-shot with Lou-san!!

I will never forget “Yabu kara SUTIKKU” and “Chicken Skin”!! lol
(These two phrases are both known as parts of “Lou’s language.” “Yabu kara SUTIKKU” is a play on the Japanese idiom “Yabu kara bou” (From a bush, comes a stick) which basically means that without any stimulation, someone suddenly starts doing something. “Bou” means “stick,” so Lou-san just changed the word to English.
“Chicken Skin” literally translated into Japanese is “Torihada” – which actually means “goosebumps” or to “have your hair stand on end,” so that’s the play on words there.)

And then, during the concert, I looked over towards our roadie (road manager – in charge of transport and effects), Attsuttsu, and he had become a horse, which surprised me!

NICE!!

Translated by Hatsumichan

Good Evening!!

YUIです。
It’s YUI.

It’s been a while..

How is everyone doing?

At last, tomorrow is the Tokyo performance!!!!!

緊張するな～きっと(>_I’m going to get nervous~ for sure(>_

But I think it will be wonderful if we can all have a fun time!

Please favor me tomorrow♪

And also, I’m a little late, but the Hokkaido Live!!!

was extremely fun!!

As expected, the snow in Hokkaido was crazy wasn’t it.

But it was a strangely comfortable coldness.

First off, Asahikawa!!

Since it was the first concert of 2012, I was very nervous, but when I went out onto the stage, I was surprised!

The atmosphere in the venue was very warm and the enthusiasm came across to me very well.

I was very happy.

In Asahikawa, I was indebted to AIR-G’s Takayama Hideki-san.

Ishikari Nabe! (salmon and vegetable hot pot) And then, penguins!

I heard that you can see penguins walking around in the Asahiyama Zoo♪

I was preparing for the concert and couldn’t go to the zoo, but I would love to try to go next time.
I wonder why penguins, on a pretty high probability, always seem to face the same directions as all the other penguins.
They’re so cute~.

I received a lot of power from this concert!!

Everyone at Asahikawa, I truly thank you very much☆

The day after the Asahikawa performance, we traveled by bus.

On the way there, there was a sled left at one of the parking lots, so everyone had fun sliding around.

And then, Chitose!!

Since the place where the “Green a.live” Music Video was filmed was close by, it felt like “Ahh It’s been a while since I’ve been here.”

Even at Chitose, there’s a very “at home” feeling about it, and I was able to relax♪

In Chitose, I was indebted to AIR-G’s Hayashi Yui-san!

There was all this wonderful information about Miso Ramen and Soup Curry, seafood and all these other delicious foods that is there.

That day was Manager Isshi, and Stage Props/Set Staff Member Ogawa’s (or Kogawa…. depends on how he reads it…>.>) Birthdays, so we all celebrated together during rehearsal.

At both Asahikawa and Chitose, I think a lot of people came from very far away places through the snow.

Really, thank you very much for rushing over for me!!!

Tomorrow is Budokan!!

It’s cold, so please come in warm clothing(^^)

I hope that tomorrow will also become a happy day for everyone☆

Good evening everyone.

It seems like there are a lot of people who have caught a cold..

Are you okay?

I’m going around touring with a heating pads stuck on my back and my stomach like a sandwich.

I am ridiculously weak against the cold.

I like kotatsu. (a table with a large blanket over it and an electric heating device attached under it)

And in that cold, I went to Kanagawa, Fukui, and Osaka!

Because I had gone to Kanagawa Prefectural Hall for previous tours as well as for the filming of “Taiyou no Uta,” I was able to be very relaxed.

I had Chinese food for lunch, and I was able to relax, and the audience “cruising” with me also had a very warm atmosphere, so it was fun.

In Kanagawa, I am very grateful to FM Yokoyama’s Hozumi Yutaka.

His crazy action to Chris, saying “Open up Japan to the world please~” left quite an impression.

In Fukui Prefecture, before the live, I tried eating Echizen Soba.

This venue also has the audience seated close to the stage so I felt a sense of unity there as well.

In Fukui, I am very grateful to the announcer, Fujita Kayo-san.

I had a feeling that there was a lot of delicious food there, and while thinking that I would like to spend my time here a little more slowly, I finished my first live in Fukui and was happy that I got to have a lot of wonderful encounters.

In the middle of the live, a sound that sounded like construction was heard, and it seemed like there was some trouble, but we were able to enjoyably finish the live without harm.

And then, since this tour was on a staff member that I am indebted to, Watarucchi’s, birthday, the crazy action of calling him out onto the stage left quite an impression.

I wanted to eat Sanma noodles~. (Kanagawa Prefecture’s specialty ramen)

In Osaka, as always, the retorts (tsukkomi) there had a very fun feeling! (“tsukkomi” is basically to correct someone who made a mistake in a funny way (usually in Japanese comedic pairs – which Osaka is famous for), such as “I’m gonna try very hard to wake up at 5am today to go to the bakery.” “The bakery’s not even open at 5am!”<-- tsukkomi - I don't know a better way to explain it... I hope you get it ^^;; )

Thank you for talking to me a lot!

When you think Osaka, you think takoyaki (octopus fried in dough balls)! So then I had some for lunch.

In Osaka, I am very grateful to FM802's Nishida Shin-san.

There are a lot of delicious things in Osaka besides takoyaki and okonomiyaki (Japanese-style pancake with cabbage, meat/seafood, egg, etc) so I was very curious.

The "battlegrounds" of ramen make you curious right!

Thank you for wonderful encounters and a wonderful time.

Thanks a lot!! (probably a pun on Osaka

To those who rushed to the venue for me, and to those who rooted for me, I truly thank you very much!!

I want to continue on while holding each encounter that I have with great care.

Good afternoon.

YUIです。
It’s YUI.

Is everyone doing well?

I went to Morioka and Sendai on the 23rd and the 24th!

“As I expected, the feeling of the air is different here,” I thought.

It felt very crisp (like…cool and crisp air), and the temperature was low as well.

And as I was having those thoughts, we went off to Iwate Prefectural Meeting Hall.

The meeting hall itself is pretty old, but because the base of the building is all rock, it seems that the hall got away with only a little damage (from the earthquake – If you didn’t know, Morioka is in the Tohoku Region where the earthquake hit).

A Sendai native, Martin-san, who took care of me during my debut period, told me this.

In Iwate Prefectural Meeting Hall, the pearls of sound feel like they’re more detailed.

The shape of the venue also changes the sound quite a bit.

But it was very easy to perform there~.

On this day, I was really indebted to Iwate Menkoi TV’s Chiba Ayako-san.

She taught me many things, and I heard the calls that they yell out for the Sansa Odori (traditional dance in Morioka) for the first time!

When everyone in the venue joined their voices together, the intensity of it was amazing.

There was a lot of information that I was curious about so it was fun!

I had a very wonderful time.

At night, I ended up eating my favorite reimen♪ (cold noodles dipped in soup)

Thank you Morioka!!

And then on the 24th was Sendai Sun Plaza Hall!!

This is a place that I was also indebted to during my last tour.

I love Rahmen’s (comedian pair) “Gyuu tan tatatan ta tan ta~n” joke (gyuutan is “beef tongue,” a specialty dish in Sendai)

so I remember it every time I come to Sendai.

It comes out on Rahmen’s “Fushigi no Kuni no Nipon no Miyagi-ken” (“Miyagi Prefecture in the Wonderland of Japan” – play on “Alice in Wonderland” (不思議の国のアリス))

I’ve gone off topic, but anyway, in Sendai, I was also indebted to someone called Honma Akihiko!

He also took care of me on the previous tour, and I was once again able to hear a lot of fun stories from him.

The seats for the audience were also close to the stage so I was really happy to feel this sense of unity with everyone.

Thank you for all your warm voices!!

Thank you Sendai!!

I ended up eating beef tongue too♪

Morioka ・ Sendai!!

Thank you for the extremely wonderful times we had.

I was really able to relax in the very warm and gentle atmosphere.

To everyone who rushed over for me, really, thank you very much!!

Today is Kanagawa Prefectural Hall!!

I hope that you will all enjoy it.

Please favor me!!

The next day, we went to the elementary schools and junior high schools in the town of Minamisanriku, which we have visited before.

Since we had already met once before, I was very happy that it felt like I was going to meet a friend.

As an expression of gratitude, everyone sang their school song for me in loud voices with beautiful smiles on their faces.

I was moved by all the spirit that came out of them.

Everyone in Isatomae Elementary School, Natari Elementary School, and Utatsu Junior High School, thank you very much!!

To Principle Abe, who, regardless of being under medical care, came to see me at Utatsu Junior High,

I truly thank you very much.

It’s getting cold very quickly, so let’s all be careful of our health.

Well then, well then, Adieu Tohoku! (Northern region of Japan where Morioka and Sendai are located)

YUI

I’m so thankful for these wonderful meetings!!

We went there!!

Good evening.

YUIです。
It’s YUI.

“I wonder if everyone’s catching a cold~” is what I’m worrying about, but are you all okay?

It suddenly got colder again huh.

My body and my mind are completely unable to keep up with it.
It’s so fast~

After the 2days of concerts that I had, even though many days have passed, my expression of gratitude for them is late!

Everyone from Shiga Prefecture!!

Everyone from Nara Prefecture!!

Once again, I had a lot of wonderful encounters with everyone.

Everyone, thank you very much for rushing over here for me!!

In Shiga Prefecture, Biwa Lake stretched out right in front of the venue and was very beautiful.

When I entered the venue and looked out at it, I felt very soothed.
Biwa Lake Hall seems like it was a venue originally used for operas, so the atmosphere and sound that I had never seen before was very fresh.

For those who are scared of heights and had seats in the top section, were you okay?

And, I’ve always thought this but, for those sitting in the front row in front of the speakers, the sound is very loud so I always worry about if you are okay.
I’m sorry.
To those who couldn’t see very well and had to stand on their tiptoes, thank you to you too!!

In Shiga Prefecture, I was happy that I was able to to talk with FM802′s Nomura Masao-san .
Nomura-san, Thank you very much!!

In Nara Prefecture, I sang a parody song “Shika ni aitai~” (I want to meet deer~) you know~

“I want to see the very big statue of Buddha (Daibutsu)!” or so I thought while heading to the concert!

Nara’s venue seemed to have been made in a boat motif, and so here was another mysterious shape as well.

In Nara Prefecture, I am extremely grateful to FM802′s Hirano Satoshi-san!
Hirano-san, thank you very much!!

So that was Nara, the place that made me feel warm and fluffy after hearing Chris (Drummer) happily tell his story of slowly walking forward towards a baby deer.

Thank you for talking to me a lot!!

Every time, I think this is a time I’ll never forget.
I hope that I was able to make that time enjoyable for everyone who came.

I’m thankful for meetings.
I was very happy to be able to meet everyone!!
I truly thank you♪

Tomorrow is Morioka!! And then the day after that is Sendai!!

The first snow fall seemed to have happened too!
Let’s be careful when driving and of the coldness.

I’m looking forward to it!! (in Hakata dialect – I think….)

Adieu reimen~. (cold noodles that you dip in soup)

YUI

P.S.
