ROCK IN JAPAN FES.2011!! Translated by waratte 皆さん、こんばんは。 Good evening, everyone. YUIです。 It's YUI. 元気ですか？ Are you well? 私は夏フェス第2弾のROCK IN JAPAN FESに行ってきました！！ I went to Summer Fest. #2 ROCK IN JAPAN FEST ! ! ロッキンは今年で７回目の出場という事で、会場の雰囲気も屋台も!?知っているので安心しつつも、 フェスにトラブルやハプニングは付きもの！なので気を引き締めながらライブをさせていただきました♪ Since this year’s ROCKIN’ was my 7th time performing here, and knowing the venue atmosphere and stage well, even despite the troubles with the festival !, I was able to focus all my energy on the live♪ 今回はライブの前にはしゃぎすぎないようにセーブしてました！笑 本当はサッカーとかみずでっぽうとか…フリスビーとか！ This time, so I won’t play too much before the show, I’m pacing myself! <laugh> Really, there was soccer, squirt guns...and frisbee! そして、ライブにはたくさんの方が集まってくれて嬉しかったです！ 感謝感激です！！ Also, I’m glad so many people came to the live! I am deeply thankful ! ! 最近、出逢いは本当に大切だなと実感しています。 出逢いはキセキですね！ 会場の皆さんと時間を共有する事が出来て本当に良かったです♪ 本当にありがとうございました！！ Nowadays, I really feel like meeting (people) is a truly important thing to experience. Meeting is a miracle, isn’t it! Hello！！ Translated by Kikino and MrSean 皆さん、こんばんは。 Hello, everybody. YUIです。 It’s YUI. たった今、日記を書いていたら途中で全部消えてしまいました。。 Just now, I was writing the diary and it vanished completely... せっかく結構書いてたのに… And it took me a lot of trouble to write all that... そういう事ってありますよね？ These things happen, right? …そう、最近ちょっとお休みをいただいて夏フェスに行ってきました！ ...Yeah, lately I had a short vacation so I went to a summer festival! テントと寝袋とふくらますマットとか夢とかがたくさん詰まって重くなったリュック！ I stuffed my backpack with a tent, sleeping bag, expanding mat and dreams, it got so heavy! 移動中の空。 The sky in the middle of the travel. 夜のライブも空やライティングなどできれい♪ The sky and lighting were beautiful in the night concerts ♪ 山に照らされた虹♪ A rainbow shining in the mountain ♪ 色々な気持ちを持ってステージ立つ姿や音を観て聴いて、 とても色んな事を感じました。 本当にありがとうございました！！ I stopped to listen at various stages, with different vibes, different figures standing on them and music playing, and experienced many different things. Really, thank you very much. 新潟の皆さんは、大変なニュースを聞きましたが大丈夫でしたか？ 皆さんが無事に過ごせていることを祈ります。 Everyone in Niigata, I heard the terrible news, is everyone all right? I hope everyone is able to go forward safely. ← (Niigata was hit by flooding) そして、東京に帰ってきてレコーディングな日々へ。 And, returning to Tokyo for several more days of recording. エンジニアの菊地さん！ Engineer Kikuchi-san! 寺もっちゃんがまじめな顔をしていたので、いたずらをしようと… Teramocchan is looking all serious, let’s play a joke on her... 色々考慮して… I considered various things... 結局、協力してもらっちゃいました！ Eventually, I ended up helping her! ありがとう！！ Thank you!! レコーディングの合間にうどん屋さんへ♪ まじめな雰囲気で話し合い？と思いきや、 During a break from recording, at the Udon shop♪ for a serious meeting? or so we thought, 「はいチーズ！」って言ったら楽しい雰囲気な写真が撮れました♪ Saying “Hai Cheese!” we took photo of the enjoyable atmosphere♪ ありがとうございました！！ Thank you very much!! 天気が安定しないですね。 気温差も激しいので体調に気を付けていきましょう！ The weather

YUI Diary (2011.07.28) — Hokkaido ! !
北海道！！ Hokkaido ! ! Translated by waratte 皆さん、こんばんは。 Good evening, everyone. YUIです。 It's YUI. 皆さんは、元気に過ごしていますか？ Is everyone doing well? 私は無事に北海道から帰ってきて、 取材も終わりまったりしています♪ I have safely returned from Hokkaido, and with interviews over, I can relax♪ 23日に北海道に到着して、夜から いつも世話になっているAIR-Gに行きました！ We arrived in Hokkaido on the 23rd, and went to always-helpful AIR-G in the evening! 深夜の1～3時までユースト！ そして、3～4時までラジオの電波ジャックをして生放送！ Late night from 1:00 to 3:00 AM USTREAM! Also, from 3:00 to 4:00 AM we did Denpo Jack live radio broadcast! とりとめのない話をしつつ、持ってきたペロペロキャンディーを食べながら、 次の日のJOIN ALIVEで何かしようか？と話し合っていました！ Rambling stories were told, I brought a lolipop candy to eat, and we talked about what would happen the next day at JOIN ALIVE ! そして、この日は(正式には前日の23日) イッチー☆の誕生日！！ Also, that day (technically the 23rd was the day before by then) was Icchy☆’s and waratte’s birthday ! ! そしてそして、明けて24日は e.u.Bandのマネージャーのユースケも誕生日！ And also, on the morning of the 24th, we celebrated e.u.Band Manager Yuusuke's birthday too! という事で、ケーキとクラッカーとタスキで皆でお祝いしましたよ♪ During which, everyone celebrated with cake and crackers and sashes♪ これからもめちゃくちゃHappyで素敵な歳になりますように☆ From here on I hope all great years can be nonsensical and Happy☆ ユースト中に、イッチーへの無茶ぶりが開始！ 明日のJOIN ALIVEのライブの前に客席に出てよ～！という事に！ During USTREAM, "Go see tomorrow's JOIN ALIVE live~!" and such! そして、その時にお客さんからも声援とかをいただけたら嬉しいね～と言っていたら… 「一期一会がいいじゃん！！」となり、振付も決定！ Also, we were glad to receive encouragement from guests~ because... "Ichi-go Ichi-e Ii Jan ! !" choreography decision! ラジオ生放送とユーストが無事終わり、 外を見たらキレイな朝焼け♪ As live radio broadcast and USTREAM safely ended, we could see a beautiful sunrise outside♪ ずっと観ながら聴きながら、付き合ってくれた皆さん！！ 本当にありがとう！！ Everyone who watched and listened and stayed with us the whole time ! ! Thanks so much ! ! 何時間か仮眠した後会場へ！ After napping for several hours, we went to the venue! 本番は、快晴な中ライブ直前… おもしろいメガネをつけて颯爽とステージへいくイッチーと ユースケが！！ Just before the good weather live... given interesting glasses, Icchy and Yuusuke went up on stage ! ! 誕生日の次の日だというのに盛り上げてくれたイッチーと ユースケ！！！ Announcing their back-to-back birthdays, Icchy and Yuusuke got everyone excited ! ! ! 本当にありがとう！！ Thanks so much ! ! 会場へは、前回のツアーでお世話になったツアーマネージャー のわたるっちと同じ会社のワカちゃんが来てくれました！ 7月7日に宮城県に行った時にも、わたるっちにお世話になりました。 At the venue, our manager from the previous tour, Watarucchi and Waka-chan from the same company came! Watarucchi also helped us when we went to Miyagi prefecture on July 7th.
