Which song is best? “Parade”, “es.car”, “I do it”, and “Kiss me” especially were the best.
(^^) I was deeply moved by the “to Mother Multi-Angle PV” ! ! This is
the best masterpiece in the album, is it not ! ? (Laugh) I live in Hiroshima, but
I’m going to HIGHER GROUND ! And I’m going to the tour! I can’t wait~.

今日は『HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN』の店着日ですね！ 早速買ってきて聴きました！
今回はどれも今までのアルバム曲とは違う少し新鮮な感じがする曲ばかりで、聴いていてとても楽しい気持ちになりました！
以前YUI先生のサイトの『STAFF DIARY』でアップされていた
殴り書きの文字は『Cinnamon』に使われていたんですね！
これから歌詞も覚えて練習したいと思います！ あ、それとギターに関する質問なのですが、
セーハを使うコードって色々ありますが、難しくてあまり上手く弾けません(涙)
なにかコツとかありますか？
Todays HITS is hitting the stores right? I went fast to buy it and listen!
This time the songs in the album have a little different and fresh feeling, when listening I had an enjoyable sensation!!
In one of the previous Staff Diary uploaded, YUI sensei scribbled some texts about Cinnamon.
After this, I feel like remember and practice the lyrics too!! Ah! And now I have a question related to guitars.
There are lots of CEJA chords but they are hard and I’m not very skilfull at playing (tears)

YUI先生：以前スタッフダイアリーの中に書いていた文字をスタッフの人が写真を
撮ってUPしてくれていたんですけども、その文字が「Cinnamon」の中の歌詞だったんですね。
そう！分かってくれた方すごいなと思いました！
「セーハを使うコード」ってバレーコードのことですかね？？
「人差し指を制覇する！」ってことですかね？難しいですよね～、全部押さえるときに、
コツで押さえられるようになるには時間がかかる気がします！いっぱい弾くことが大事ですかね。

YUI先生：最初は親指にベースの音を弾きながら・・・色んなのがあると思うな。
(♪チャラ～ン←ギターを弾くYUI先生) 目で見ないと、どうやっていいか難しいよね。
周りに弾いていた人や大人たちがたくさんいると思うので「弾いてないの？弾いてないの？」って聞いてみてください！
At the beginning play the bass sounds with your thumb… I think there are various (?)

これが一番シンプルなところかな？これはちなみに「I remember you」ね。
最初は好きな曲を耳コピして、「これどうやってやってるのかな？」って一生懸命やってみてください！

First, start copying by ear a song that you love, “Whow can we do it?” Please try with all your might!

名前とか全然覚えないんで、音で覚えてて、「コレ、こういうディレイかー。」
とか「トレモロかー」とか、そうだね、色とかで覚えてる！かな～。でもチューブスクリーマー、
BB Preamp、ラッドかな、あと色々試してみるのもあるんですけど、歪み系を・・・
逆に教えてください！(笑) アンプでもギターでも変わるので、まわりのギターリストの人に
・・・あ、そうだ！私に聞いてくれてるんだよね (笑) 教えてください！

I never remember the names and the like, I remember the sounds, “This, a delay like this?” or
“a tremolo like this?”. That is so. I remember the colors too! I wonder~. But Tube Screamer,
BB Preamp, RAD maybe? And there are lots that i’ve tried but, distorsion systems…
Please tell me about it! (laughs) Since even amps or guitars, people around guitarists (?)

これも難しいよね、どうやって教えたらいいのかな？私はやっぱり、見たり聴いたりしてるうちに
どんどん真似してできるようになりましたね・・・・・あ！思い出した！
ギターのストロークの練習するときに、口で言うようにしてました！
例えば♪ジャーン、ジャーン、ツ、ジャジャ、ツ、ジャカジャカ～とか言ってまず口で真似をしてみる！
で、これはどういうのかって時に、ギターで鳴らしてみる。口で1回覚えてギターで挑戦してみてください！
This is dificult too eh? I wonder how should I show you? As for me, like I thought, I would look and listen,
steadily copying it hoping to learn, ne? …. Ah! I remembered!
When practicing guitar strumming I made sure to say it with my voice!
For example♪ shan, shan, shi, shasha, shi, shaka, shaka~ and so, try imitating using your mouth!
Then, when you are doing this, try playing your guitar, remember using your mouth one time, please try this challenge with your guitar!

意外に難しいかな～と思いつつも解説したいと思います！
コードは「E」と、「A add9」と、「B add9」の3つが出てきます。 言った順番
(循環) で弾いていくんですけど・・（”♪Shake My Heart～”と←YUI先生歌ってレクチャー!! レアだよ!!)
イントロとサビが一緒なので、この3つのコードを覚えてループしてもらえたら、
だいたい弾けると思うので、ぜひ挑戦してみてください！

you could think it’s unexpectedly dificult so I will make an explanation!
Chords are 3: 「E」、「A add9」 and 「B add9」. I that order

あさって七夕ですね！
そういえば、3年前のYUI LOCKS!で七夕の願い事を黒板に書いたことがありました！
The day after tomorrow is Tanabata!
Which reminds me, 3 years ago on YUI LOCKS, a Tanabata wish was written on the blackboard!

でしたけれども・・・
確実に、早く走れるようになったと思います！
タイムは計ってないですけど、気持ちです!!
あれから3年が経ちました。
2010年の七夕に、私が書く願い事は!!
It was however…
Certainly, it was “to be able to run fast” I think!
I didn’t measure the time but, It feels great!!
Since then, 3 years have passed.
I will write my wish for Tanabata 2010!!

これは、「早く走れますように！」からもう一歩 先に進んでいきたいなという、
ある意味を色んな意味を込めながら書きました。
This “wish to run fast” comes from the desire to advance one more step ahead,
I wrote this as it encompass several meanings.

着実でありながら、
目標に突き進む勢いもありーの、
着実さもありーの、
スピード感もありーの、
じっくり考えながらもありーの、
嫁ぎーのです！
While being steady
There is also the pursue a goal with energy
There is also steadiness
There is also a speed feeling
There is also careful thinking times
To be married!
(I really hope i got this wrong)

Ah, I guess this is useless, is it useless??

今日の授業は、来週水曜日、
7月14日にリリースされるYUI先生のNEW アルバム
「HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN」スペシャル!!
Today’s lesson is:
next Wednesday, July 14th, will be the release of
YUI-sensei’s new album “HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN”
Special!!

まず、はじめに届けられたのは、
First, to begin the report,

「I do it」
YUI先生：これは、初の楽曲提供と言うことで、セリフカバーをしたものです。
サウンドの音、全部レコーディングしたのです が、「to Mother」のMUSIC　VIDEOで
ドラムを叩いていた、スウェーデン出身のクリスチャンがドラムを叩いてくれて、
ベースは、いつものバッキーさんがレコーディングしてくれたので、聴いて下さいね。
YUI-sensei: This is the first composition I make for others, It’s a self cover.
Regarding the ssound, I did all the recordings but the person who played drums in
to Mother MV, Chirstian, from seeeden helped with the drum part.
And in bass, Backy-san helped in the recording as always. Please listen to it ne?

さあ、今日は時間の限り、NEWアルバムの曲を お届け！
なぜか、ハイテンションの声よりも、小さい声でしゃべった方が、みんなが聴いてくれる！
という噂を聞いたというYUI先生。ひそひそ声でYUI先生のアルバムのお話、いきます！
Well, now the time has come for song reports of the new album!
Somehow, from a enthusiastic voice, I will talk in a low volume, everybody, listen!
Like listening to a rumor from YUI-sensei. With a wispering voice, YUI-sensei’s Album talk, Here we go!

まずは・・・
First of all…

「Shake My Heart」
YUI先生：この曲は、海の家で船にとってみんなでワイワイしているようなイメージで
作ったんですけれど、本当にワイワイしてい て、サビのコーラスにスタッフ
の男性の方4人に声をかけて、「みんなでコーラス歌って欲しいな。」と声をかけ
たんです。そしたらみんな楽しそうにコーラスを してくれてワイワイした感じが
でたかな？と思ってます！
YUI Sensei: As for this song, I made it using the image of a beach hut and a boat where everybody seems enthusiastic.
Making a big din, in the chorus part, four males from the staff said, “We want to sing the chorus together” So they lend their voices.
So what if we make the chorus happily by everyone with a lively feeling? It’s what we thought!

ここで、すでにひそひそ声はなくなってますが、YUI先生にしか話せないアルバム
の話は気になる、気になるーー!!ということで ジャンジャンいきましょう。
That is, the whispering voice had already disappeared, but

「Cinnamon」
YUI 先生：この曲は単純にシナモンの香り漂う贅沢な時間を思い浮かべながら聴いて
欲しいなと思ったんですけども、内容は、寝る前とかに好きな人や大切な人に
電話した時に出なくて心配しちゃった。みたいな ことがあると思うんですけども、
そういう曲はあるのかな？と思っていて、でも、この曲はかかってきたほうの立場なんです。
「かかってきたけど寝ちゃった」み たいな、ほのぼのした曲です。
YUI-sensei: As for this song, I want you to listen to it while recalling the simplicity of cinnamon’s aroma floating at times in luxury
As for the subject, before going to bed, at the time you call by telephone to the person you like, or that person who is important to you, you’ll fell anxious for them to answer. These things use to happen.
Is there a song about this? I wondered. But, this song is from the point of view of the person who answers
It looks like “I’ve answered, but I’ve already went to bed”. It’s a heartwarming song.

「es.car」
YUI 先生：このタイトルは、江ノ島の「エスカー」という乗り物からつけました。
YUI-sensei: This title comes from the name of Enoshima’s “Esukaa”.

ぜひ江ノ島に行ったときは、「エスカー」の乗って、この曲を思い出していただけたらと思います！
Wihout fail, If you go to Enoshima and ride on the “Esukaa”, I hope you remember to this song!

そして、アルバム「HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN」
YUI 先生：このアルバムは、夏をイメージして作っていきました。
明るいキラキラしたアルバムになったらいいなと思ったんですけれども、
いろんなアイデアと、遊びココロさん詰め込めた と思うので、
ドライブの時になでもぜひ聴いて欲しいなと思います！
Also, the album “HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN”
YUI-sensei: I made this album trying to create an image of summer.
I thought it would be nice to create a bright sparkling album,
Various ideas and a playful heart-san were packed in, with that in mind.
Even when you’re driving I want you to listen to it!

・・・と、ひそひそから普通サイズのボイスのままお話してくれたYUI先生 (笑)！
…and, YUI-sensei changed her voice from wispering to a normal level voice (laugh) !
