YUI releases a “Self cover” mini album to commemorate her 15th anniversary.
YUI, who is the current leader of the rock band FLOWER FLOWER, will release a “self cover” album in celebration of her 15 years anniversary since her major debut.
Starting from her first single “feel my soul” until her last best-of album “Green Garden Pop” and ”Orange Garden Pop”, YUI boasted of immense popularity not only in Japan, but also in all corners of Asia as a top-class singer / songwriter. She continues to be a big influence for many singer/songwriters ever since.
Last year she performed “TOKYO” and “CHE.R.RY” on the YouTube channel “The First Take” for the first time in 8 years.
This new release will include 6 of her classic songs, rearranged by the current members of FLOWER FLOWER, with the current YUI as the lead singer. It is a work where you can freely feel the charm of her natural way of singing.
The bluray included on the limited edition will contain a performance of “Summer Song” along with other 3 songs from their last live stream concert “Inko no Have a nice day Tour”
