yui and Hitomi Yaida, among other artists, will participate in the event TIMELESS SESSIONS in YOKOHAMA on June 17th. In this interview they meet for the first time!
Yaida said about yui “I think it takes great courage to transition from a solo artist to form a band like FLOWER FLOWER materializing a new form of expression.”
yui said: “A lot of things happened since my debut, but the songs I heard from you (Yaida) during your concerts made me recover my initial resolution.”
yui confessed that the first music CD she ever bought was a Hitomi Yaida album, and she used to be inspired by her music while commuting to school everyday.
Hitomi Yaida debuted in the year 2000, and yui on 2005.
