Did FLOWER FLOWER change labels?

On this chapter of our conspiracy theory research series. Did FLOWER FLOWER change labels (within Sony)??

Giving a deeper look into this file:

http://www.sonymusic.co.jp/xml/art/70007342/artist.xml

Every song has two catalogue codes. The one we looked before is the Sony Records catalogue number: SRCL-8499

But there is also another code called International Standard Recording Code, or ISRC for short

isrc number

So we have: JPU901401534
JP: Japan
U90: SME
14: Yeah 2014
01534: Record number

References for the nerds:

If we compare to other releases on the list, all of them were registered as JPSR0 (SMR)

This means Subarashii Sekai was released under SME, not Gr8! records (Currently, both are subsidiaries of SMR, though)

Now. SME catalogue numbers are SECL-XXXX, not SRCL so, why is the song registered under both labels?

Answer is simple if you remember the previous entry. The song was registered long ago to be released in the album that was postponed. That’s when it got the SRCL code. But since it was never put up for sale, it was never registered under ISRC until just now.

In summary, FLOWER FLOWER might have moved from Sony Music Records to SME.
How does this affect fans? Well… Remember when StudioSeven closed and all artists were merged with Gr8! records? How happy we were because we thought everything would be handled better and YUI would finally have decent promotion and great releases with lot’s of content and incredible limited editions like MOST artist do?!?! ………….. AND NOTHING HAPPENED.

Well this is probably the same thing. and this article is about ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IMPORTANT AND A WASTE OF MY TIME AND YOUR TIME I’M SORRY LOL

PLEASE FLOWER FLOWER STAFF MOVE YOU *SS AND ANNOUNCE THE ALBUM ALREADY I’M DYING HERE

But yeah… maybe it’s just that their contract expired and they got a new deal and stuff… nothing we should care, but under the current conditions I feel forced to make news out of thin air… u _u
